Since April 2017, Diron Blackburn has served as President of the US-based companies for Grupo
Walworth, a diversified global manufacturing, distribution and services company headquartered
in Mexico City. Diron leads many companies in the US including TWC The Valve Company,
Premier Valve & Field Services, San Jacinto River & Rail Park, and Delta Water Processing. He is
leading the company to new levels of growth and stability by applying his extensive experience
in management and leadership from his exposure to a broad range of industries, including
healthcare services, technology, government, education, transportation and logistics, real
estate, manufacturing and distribution, and oil & gas services.
In 2007, Diron founded Sybaris Group, a healthcare support services company. He served in
various leadership roles at Sybaris including CFO, COO, Managing Partner, and President and
CEO. After successfully selling Sybaris, he remained with the company as President for 3 years
before joining Cornerstone Healthcare Group as vice president of a newly formed support
services company.
Prior to Sybaris, Diron worked in commercial real estate with HPI Real Estate in Austin, TX, for 3
years. Before joining HPI, Diron logged 13+ years at UPS, having served in roles with increasing
responsibility in operations, sales and sales management. His career included twice being
named to the Chairman’s Gold Eagle Club as a top salesperson for the global company.
In addition to his professional career, Diron actively volunteers his time and has served or
continues to serve on the Board of Directors of many organizations including: the Brown County
American Red Cross; Rodeo Austin where he served as President in 2005; his local HOA; the
Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation; the Real Estate Council of Austin; the Fort Bend ISD
Facilities Master Planning Committee; and the Ridge Point High School All Sports Booster Club,
where he served as President for 2 years. Diron has also coached several youth sports teams for
many years.
Diron holds a BBA from Howard Payne University. He has been married to his wife since 2002
and they have two sons. In his spare time, Diron enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, travelling and
sports.
